Job Description Environmental Engineer Burns & McDonnell has exciting opportunities in our Denver office in our Infrastructure group for Environmental Engineers of varying experience levels. These positions will plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. The candidate will perform work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may involve a variety of complex features. It requires general knowledge of precedents in specialty areas and familiarity with basic principles and practices in related specialties. This person may coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation assignments. There will be other duties as assigned.Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering from an accredited program. Please see specific requisition numbers for the various experience requirements. Excellent written & verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills are required. These positions require an experienced and competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. This person must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. Completion of the FE exam is strongly preferred and required for higher level positions.
