Engineering Technician
Lawhon and Associates, Inc., is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our full-time opening as stated below:
Technician - Facility Maintenance Planning/Assessment
Entry Level or 1-3 years experience. Assist in the development of Maintenance Plans for School Districts throughout the State of Ohio. Tasks include collecting data from construction documents, entering the data into documents for the maintenance plan, presenting the plan to school district personnel, assembling the data in the company Maintenance Management Software (Microsoft Access), setting up the software at the district level, training school personnel, working with the districts to implement the Maintenance Plan. The position requires an associate or bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
Successful candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, have an acceptable driving record and be willing to travel.
We are looking for individuals in northeast (Akron/Cleveland), central (Columbus), and southwest (Dayton) Ohio areas. Persons working in the Regional (Akron/Cleveland/Dayton) offices will be required to spend 2-4 weeks in Columbus for training upon employment.
