Position Title:  Engineering Services – Sales Engineer

As a preferred IBM Business Partner and a Dassault Systems Value Added Reseller, TechniGraphics offers engineering services from the design of large jigs and fixtures all the way through to the remastering of legacy CAD data and training in CATIA to the world’s largest corporations.

Location(s):  Seattle, Wichitaor East Coast

Responsibilities: Responsible for selling engineering services throughout North America for designing and detailing primarily in our Pune, India, office with project management provided locally in the United States.

Activities and duties:

• Identify, develop, and close very large engineering services opportunities
• Identify new strategic business opportunities in existing accounts
• Attain and exceed personal quarterly and yearly quotas by maintaining an appropriate sales pipeline

Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering; master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration a plus.

Skills and qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years in technical sales, preferably focused in the engineering industry or engineered products manufacturing industry. Previous experience in selling engineering services in the aerospace or automotive industries is desirable.

The successful candidate will become part of a small, highly dynamic and fast growing team; should be self-motivated, have a great attitude and be able to work with minimal supervision. Good domain-specific knowledge of Engineering practices and Manufacturing processes in the aerospace and/or automotive industryAbility to comprehend customer requirements and have discussions on possible solutions is requiredFamiliarity with one or more CAD tools such as CATIA, Pro/E, Inventor, IDEAS, UG-NX is neededShould have practical experience in designing/developing parts and systems.Advanced organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and written/oral communication skillsGeneral computer skills in email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust be able to effectively prioritize and manage numerous activities Ability to identify and close engineering services opportunities

This position may require up to 50% domestic travel.
