OPPORTUNITY:
At this time we are actively seeking a professional licensed, senior management level Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineer or Architect to take on the role of Engineering Office Manager of our current Engineering and Architectural Services Division in Sacramento.
The successful candidate must have considerable experience in the design of public buildings and building systems as well as the ability to manage our current staff of highly skilled and talented engineering and architectural industry professionals. Some travel to project sites is required.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Provide master plan concepts
* Provide designs for various building types including preparation of construction documents and specifications
* Perform peer review of various designs and construction
* Facilitate value engineering work shops
* Perform facility assessments
* Perform construction administration services
* Perform field observation and analyze field changes
* Ability to write concise and clear reports
* Support sales efforts through participation in lead generation, client contacts, proposal preparation and interviews
Required Experience:
* Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical) or licensed Architect in California.
* Must have a bachelors degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Structural, etc.) Mechanical, Electrical) or Architecture.
* Must have proven skills and experience working within an Engineering or Architectural Office or Department Management role. Must have strong skills and experience managing and developing engineering and architectural staff in the performance of studies and designs for public facilities (Ex: civic buildings, hospitals, medical centers, institutional buildings, fire stations, prisons, court houses, community colleges, high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, etc.)
Compensation & Benefits Package:
The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive and full comprehensive compensation package including base salary $130,000 to $150,000/year DOE; full medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc; 401(k) match, profit sharing, cash performance bonuses, and much, much, more.
