Engineering Co-Op

Position Description:

The Engineering co-op will be assigned to work on a project team and assist the designers and engineering team members in the execution of their project work. These projects may involve the design of new power plants; modifications and upgrades to existing power plant systems, components, and/or structures; or transmission, substation, and distribution engineering projects. Working under the direction of senior engineers and designers, the co-op will have the opportunity to assist in the preparation of calculations, specifications, and designs. In addition, the co-op will work on a variety of tasks associated with project reporting, such as tracking and evaluating project activities, project progress, and associated data.

Qualifications:

We are seeking engineering students who are majoring in Mechanical, Electrical (power or control systems), Civil (structural), or Nuclear Engineering. Sophomore level class status is preferred along with a good GPA.
