Engineering Associate III
ITT Intelligence and Information Warfare This is a hands-on design/development position in a fast paced environment within the intelligence community. The successful candidate can expect to work on developing a wide spectrum of engineering solutions for miniaturized high speed digital and RF circuits. There will be large amounts of on-the-job training opportunities available. They will support the full range of the product lifecycle technology evaluation, design, development, test/validation, quality assurance, failure analysis, and production support for unique solutions requiring a very short time to market.Responsibilities:- Initially will work on documentation of build processes, construction technique development, and test development.- Will have the opportunity to lead small production jobs.- Perform layout, build, test, troubleshoot, and modify RF/Analog circuits with the ability to learn digital circuits.- Program and operate automated equipment.- Create bill of materials and order items from BOM.- Generate testing and inspection plans.Company Info: The IIW, Intelligence and Information Warfare division, a business unit of ITT Corporation, is an established developer of wireless communications systems, from concept to finished product. Qualifications: - Technical schooling or equivalent with at least 6 years of electronics experience in a product development environment.- Experience with soldering/rework, reverse engineering and debugging old circuits.- Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and manufacturing required.- Knowledge of test equipment including oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, schematic & layout software required.- Experience with microcontroller programming is preferred. - Experience in RF is a plus. - Experience with Labview to design simple test systems is a plus.All Applicants Please Read: U.S. Citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents not eligible).
