Join the Creare team to solve our clients’ most challenging engineering problems.  As a Design Engineer at Creare you will enjoy:Variety of Work:  Work on several “clean-sheetâ€� R&D projects at a time.  Example current projects:  spacecraft cryogenic systems, compact combustors, vacuum pumps for Mars rovers, miniature portable water chillers, aerosol devices for administering pharmaceuticals, liquid nitrogen cooling systems for cutting tools, precision scroll pumps, and turbines with shaft speeds greater than 500,000 rpm.Opportunities to Apply Engineering Science:  Wield your understanding of statics, dynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, materials, mechanical design, and fabrication processes to design, build, and test working prototypes.Talented and Creative Colleagues:  Team with other creative engineers and highly capable Designers/Drafters, R&D Technicians, and Machinists.

 

What’s required?  The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of industrial design experience (preferably in R&D), an MSME with excellent academic credentials, the ability to design for a wide range of fabrication processes, innovation and creativity, capabilities in FEM and CAD, and excellent skills with organization, detail, accuracy, and communication.  P.E. licensure is a plus.
