Engineer - Quality

Job Summary: Support the organization in administering a quality program that assures internal and external requirements are met in conjunction with Quality Policy. Major Responsibilities: Provide support to insure continuous compliance of Varco's procedures with customer and statutory requirements through process improvement activities. Facilitate internal audits of the Quality System. Support activities with certifying authorities to maintain Quality System certification. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve non-conforming material issues. Provide assistance and guidance for design submittal activities, data book preparation, and product certification issues. Research, resolve and provide support to customers for customer assurance/certification issues. Provide support to design engineering, manufacturing, quality control, purchasing, manufacturing engineering and planning related design control, process control and fabrication records. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in or equivalent, with 6+ year's experience.
