Currently we are seeking a Engineer II position to work in our ISS Division 

( http://www.scires.com/divisions/iss.htm) in beautiful, historic Charleston, SC. 

 

Primary duties and desired experience for this position are:Being part of a team responsible for the network design, engineering and testing for the JWICS upgrade project. Providing network engineering support, including configuration, PITCO, installation and integration oversight..Involved with developing new architectures and evaluating current infrastructures. Need to have an intimate knowledge of Ethernet and WAN technologies, with an emphasis on OSPF and BGP routing protocols. Required to specify, configure, test, and assist in the development of distributed global networks as well as perform site surveys and assist in installation and configuration documentation.  Must have in depth knowledge with CISCO network infrastructure hardware is required.  Experience with Netscreen, Marconi, Ixia a plus.CISCO certification is a plus i.e CCNP and CCIE
