IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY
Spec Ops is offering an immediate opportunity for a Security System Engineer at Fort Jackson, SC. This is a contract position through May 2009. It is anticipated that the contract will be extended for another year thereafter. Other CONUS and OCONUS contracts are also expected for additional military installations. This position is responsible for providing technical support to the Senior Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise field installation and directly coordinate activities of technicians and electricians at job sites. Provide quality assurance checks of installations. Load, configure and modify software. Test hardware and software.

REQUIREMENTS
Due to the nature of work, United States citizenship is required; Current DoD Secret Security Clearance mandatory; Four years of experience installing security sensors and software; Demonstrated knowledge of testing, evaluation and troubleshooting of electronic equipment; Practical experience with security system platforms and software; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Exhibit professional manner in dealing with customers, co-workers, vendors and management; Per diem is offered for those traveling to site; Must be open to frequent travel.
