*** NOTE: POSITION MAY ELECT TO BE BASED OUT OF PITTSBURGH, PA OR MORGANTOWN, WV***Help support our DOE client in providing solutions to our nation's energy crisis!EG&G, a division of URS Corporation, a FORTUNE 500 company, has an excellent mid-level career opportunity to support DOE's fossil-fueled advanced coal and power systems technologies program.Must have B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and 5 years of experience using Aspen Plus in advanced power generation systems or related fields.Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for the success of this position.Position requires U.S. Citizenship.Position may require some travel between sites and the ability to pass/maintain a security clearance. Job Description : The Energy Engineer will be providing systems engineering support to our DOE client located at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV.Position will have the flexibility to be based out of either DOE location.Primary responsibilities will include system analyses related to advanced power systems using Aspen Plus; Providing technical/economic evaluation of existing and advanced power generation systems; Creating presentation materials and databases; Making presentations as needed; and Preparing and reviewing reports, manuscripts and documents.EG&G offers its employees a competitive salary and cafeteria style benefits package that includes matching 401k, employee stock purchase plan and educational assistance programs.This position may qualify for relocation assistance. : : EOE M/F/D/V
