Job Status/Type: Full Time, Employee Industry: Engineering Services Reference Code: GOE08.0398 Occupations: Energy/Nuclear Engineering;General/Other: Engineering Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Education: Bachelor's Degree  ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThe Energy Efficiency Engineer is responsible for a variety of demand side management initiatives for the facilities of E Group customers.  Specific duties include:  1)  Conducting site energy audits and providing written recommendations with energy, demand and cost reduction estimates as well as capital retrofit cost estimates  2)  Supporting Energy Star initiatives specifically the development of facility energy baselines and conducting Energy Star certification inspections 3)  Analyzing energy data to determine target customer facilities for energy efficiency projects  4)  Conducting measurement and verification analysis on already implemented energy efficiency initiatives  5)  Supporting demand response initiatives in PJM and MISO 6)  Developing energy and demand estimates for annual electric and natural gas budgets  7)  Coordinating LEED certification activities. QUALIFICATIONSQualifications include: 1)  Professional Engineer's License 2)  Experience conducting energy audits on commercial and industrial facilities 3)  Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering 4)  CEM and/or LEED certification a plus 5)  Excellent analytical, communication and computer skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering will be required.  A PE is strongly preferred.  The Engineer requires a minimum of 5 years experience Company: FirstEnergy Email: Apply by Email
