Electrical Physical Designer-Contract or Direct Hire in Folsom, CA

DEL Technical Services is conducting a search for our client company for Electrical Physical Designer for leading global energy engineering firm.  This is a Contract or Direct Hire Position in Folsom, CA.  Our client company is a national engineering, architecture, planning and construction management firm.  Here are the details of the position.

 

Description:

The key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following areas:

Applicant must be familiar with NEC and NFPA standards. Has experience in power plant design. Applicant must be capable of locating equipment in a 3D environment as well as the design of raceways (cable tray, conduits and ductbank systems). Must be familiar with equipment modeling, grounding grid design, cable routing, lighting design, and hazardous classification. Capable of field walk downs and data gathering.

Minimum Requirements:

·  AutoCAD and Microstation required

·  Applicant must have 10+ years experience of substation and/or power plant physical design experience
