Electrical Physical Designer

Position Description:

This position will not only recognize your experience and skills and but also offer you the opportunity to work in a professional corporate office on a variety of design projects. These challenging and interesting design projects are associated with modifications and upgrades to existing nuclear power plants.In this position, some of the activities you will be involved in are:- preparation of a variety of design deliverables for nuclear power plant projects, such as calculations for conduit sizing, span, and pull box sizing- interpretation of vendor information- identification of vendor interfaces - incorporation of vendor and other technical data into design drawings- interfacing with both design and engineering staff to provide and obtain required design inputsYou will also have the opportunity to travel and/or work at project sites for field walkdowns and field verification of design.

Qualifications:

We are seeking experienced Electrical Physical Designers with at least 6 years of related work experience in the electric power industry.Experience in the design of electrical equipment layouts, cable trays, duct runs, and exposed conduit for power stations is required along with proficiency in CAD.
