Electrical Engineering Consultant

Position Description:

This position will serve clients on financial and economic studies of electric power supply, transmission and distribution facilities and systems. Duties will include project economic and cost analysis, technical and financial due diligence reviews, risk assessments, energy asset valuations, project development support, long-range planning and support of project financing. Travel will include both domestic and international.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, 3+ years of experience in the electric power industry, an MBA and fluency in a foreign language (prefer Spanish or French). Candidates should have a solid background in finance, economics and accounting, either through experience in the industry or graduate studies. Technical skills should include experience in station electrical and control systems design, a general understanding of operating power station electrical and control systems and current knowledge of industry codes and standards for electrical design.
