Latrobe Specialty Steel Company currently has two openings for Manufacturing Engineer – Electrical.  This position performs engineering work requiring utilization of current engineering practices while developing professional work knowledge and abilities.  Also directs area maintenance and engineering activities with the goal of continuously improving safety, productivity, yields, process reliability, manufacturing costs, etc.

 

This position is responsible for the following:

 Planning, organizing, and directing of area maintenance resources to provide plant capacity assurance (minimize downtime) through use of preventative and predictive maintenance methodsWorking independently or in support of other engineers in solving problems requiring use of current engineering practicesPerforming standard data analysis, calculations, and/or drawings in producing engineering designsPreparing specifications and working with Purchasing Department to obtain bids on equipment and services.Scheduling, organizing, and directly supervising work for maintenance employees and outside contractors assigned to the area

Required Qualification:

Bachelor Degree – Electrical Engineering
