We're seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join an exceptional consulting engineering firm. This position of Controls Engineer will be in their Minneapolis/St Paul area office. You will have that “small company feel” with the security of a backlog of established work and the resources of a 500 person firm in multiple locations. You will maintain hands-on controls design responsibility while leading and mentoring other controls engineers. You will also have the opportunity to directly build and maintain client relationships through ascertaining and meeting their engineering needs.
Responsibilities include: Providing hands-on electrical controls engineering and design for industrial projects Developing design packages for bid and construction Coordinating and executing the design and programming of PLC, HMI & VFD Coordinating engineering, design and CAD resources.
Qualified candidates must possess:
BS in Electrical Engineering 10+ years related experience Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming
