ENGINEERING ASSISTANT FULL TIME CO-OP/ INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Ameresco, Inc. is an independent energy solutions company delivering long-term customer value through innovative systems, strategies, and technology.  We are currently seeking individuals on co-op or intern basis to support Massachusetts project development needs. This position is located in Framingham, MA and provides compensation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Determine customers’ technical requirements, identify and evaluate energy efficiency opportunities.

· Gather key project details such as utility data, facility profiles, site drawings, system operating data.

· Visit project sites to assess/ document building, mechanical, electrical, controls, plumbing systems.

· Investigate, analyze, and document energy conservation and water cost reduction measures.

· Conduct detailed engineering analysis including baseline profiles, end-use analysis, retro-fit analysis.

· Prepare technical content, proposals, analysis, feasibility reports and provide critical peer review.

· Perform other duties as required.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

· Junior/ Senior level college student pursuing energy engineering-related degree.  

· Ability to organize and process detailed numerical and analytical project data.

· Strong verbal, written, technical, and computer communication skills.

· Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence in good standing.

· Responsible for own reliable transportation.

· U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

· May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
