ENERGY PROJECT ASSISTANT - PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES 8-10 Hours per week
The Energy Project Assistant will work with Ameresco’s Engineering Teams to identify and evaluate energy and water conservation opportunities within San Francisco's public and multi-family housing site locations. These temporary positions require approximately 8-10 hours per week on a flexible Monday-Friday daytime basis through August and September, 2008. Additional project work into October, 2008 may also be available. All positions require U.S. citizen or permanent resident status.
Responsibilities include:
· Conduct site visits with Ameresco staff to evaluate building systems.
· Data collection, data entry, and creating summary reports.
· Process construction and engineering documents and materials.
· Assist Engineers and Managers with daily project support.
Requirements include:
· Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
· Able to understand instruction and on-the-job training.
· Ability to use MS Word, Excel, including basic Outlook/email.
· Ability to use and communicate via telephone.
· Ability to follow through and complete job duties.
· Demonstrates good organizational skills and record keeping techniques.
· Responsible for reliable transportation to project locations.
