Responsibilities

We are please to announce that we are seeking a talented electrical/software HMI controls engineer to be a part of a team responsible for designing, testing, documenting, installing, and supporting software utilized in robotic control and HMI of retort systems. Position focuses on:Design & implement new or upgraded electrical/controls hardware and software systems involving PLC, PC, & HMI development and design.Provide depth & experience in the area of controls and system design.Closely interact with manufacturing during all stages of design and implementation.Provide customer support through field service attention.Integration of customer machine controls.Development and maintenance of technical documentation.

Technical SkillsB.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or 3 years exp. in software programming application utilizing languages such as Visual Basic, C++, Java, RSView, etc. Strong Windows based knowledge.Experience with drives to include VFDs and motion control.Experience designing HMI systems.Ability to read & understand electrical schematics.Possesâ€™ factory floor troubleshooting experience.Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.Willingness to travel

Prefer Allen Bradley PLC programming experience.Rockwell HMI programming experience.Microsoft Visual Basic programming experience.Wonderware HMI programming experience.Microsoft SQL Server database design exp.AutoCAD exp.Understanding of Ethernet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet networking.
