Lays out complete products and prepares assembly and detail drawings, following the general instructions. Makes various calculations such as strength of materials, weights, simple forces, and stresses. frequent usage of charts and tables. Prepares Bill of Materials and specifications.

Key Tasks Prepares assembly and detail parts drawings for Inventor and AutoCAD.Presents timely drawings and modifications.Makes various calculations such as strength of materials, weights, simple forces, and stresses, frequently using charts and tables.Assists in the follow-up of prototype construction with outside vendors.Effectvely communicate with coworkers and proactively support departmental and interdepartmental cooperation. Preforms all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Prior experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Inventor software required.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Presents timely drawings and modifications.Accurate drawing presentations.Recommends appropriate changes and simplification.Maintains master files in organized mannerMust be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
