Lytron designs and manufactures components and systems for some of the most demanding thermal management applications. Products include cold plates, heat exchangers, re-circulating chillers and cooling systems.

 

We are seeking an experienced Drafter to work under the direction of the responsible supervisor to detail assemblies or single component drawings using Solid Works. This individual shall be familiar with ASME Y14.5, GD&T standards and the system of military and other national or international standards. This individual shall be familiar with drawing requirements to fit the following manufacturing categories: prismatic machining, turned machining, sheet metal, welding & brazing, EDM, plumbing and fittings, fasteners and rivets, finishes, and heat treating.

 

 Responsibilities include:

 

Ø  Prepare a wide range of part and assembly drawings from layouts, sketches, or models as prepared by designers or engineers with whom you will work in close support. Drawings must be clear, accurate and complete to enable manufacture or purchase.

 

Ø  Recommend minor changes and analyze the effects of all changes on drawing packages as well as the parts and assemblies as relating to form, fit and function. (where appropriate)

 

Ø  Perform engineering changes on existing drawings.

 

Ø  Perform tolerance stack calculations.

 

Ø  Check all drawings for accuracy prior to submission for approval.

 

Ø  Maintain proper file management including the use of PDMWorks.

 

Minimum requirements: Technical School certificate or an Associate Degree with a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience; Good knowledge of Solid Works. Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; Good Communication Skills; Professionally ambitious.
