Document Control Specialist

The document control specialist defines standards and workflows for document management as well as supervises the collection, authoring, publication, storage and retrieval of documents. Responsible for preparing and processing electronic or physical documents for review, routing, comments, filing, etc.Prepare and maintain databases, spreadsheets or other document control systemsMaintain logs/reports for tracking responses/status of documents.Follow-up with client/vendors on documents revisionsMaintains the master electronic project files.Scan documents, update procedures, and type Word documents as required.Prepare records for inactive storage according to the Records Retention Schedule; copy and scan documents as needed to perform distribution and storage dutiesManages document processes and systems to ensure control and availability of documentation to site personnel. Support Quality Management for quality reviews and audits.
