Location: Largo, FL 33773 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Pay Rate: 80,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD /year Reference Code: 100003265 Director of Engineering and Web Development  Job description: Leads a team of web site and analytics developers and programmers responsible for the creation and support of Client web sites and modules. Develops project plans, reviews technical specifications, establishes technical objectives, assigns tasks and manages groups/teams. Maintains and drives technical milestones and coordinates activities with other groups. Provides guidance to employees doing web development, with responsibility for employee career development. Job Responsibilities:·  Establish short and mid-term work plans and optimize resources to ensure that work objectives (e.g. productivity, quality, costs) are consistently met. Set expectations and goals for individual staff members. ·  Hire, coach, and manage the development staff and communicate issues and progress to management as needed. Align staff according to skill set and experience to support delivery team goals. ·  Negotiate and share responsibility for project success with project managers, team leads, and individual contributors. ·  Evaluate and recommend new technology and procedures for systems development to minimize system development costs, improve productivity, and enhance the system operation. ·  Establish and maintain working relationships with non-technical groups including Creative, Content and Interactive Marketing to produce quality synergistic solutions. ·  Manage issue resolution. Understand the impact of problems/solutions. ·  Monitor software development process and enable team’s compliance with internal standards. ·  Interface with management to define staffing, tools, infrastructure, and technologies; analyze problems from a top down approach and implement efficient solutions. ·  Develop and implement a risk management process to identify, address and eliminate source of risk in software development before they become threats to schedule and successful completion.  Minimum requirements: ·  Minimum of  5 years of software development experience, and a minimum of 2-4 years of software management experience. ·  Senior level .NET framework experience with C# (1.1 and 2.0), both within and outside the ASP.Net environment. ·  Experience working with SOA using XML Web Services, as well as multi-threaded Windows Service applications. ·  Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, OOP, and common application design patterns. ·  Experience with ADO.Net SQL development with MS SQL Server. ·  Familiarity with diverse, complex problems and aptitude for devising reasonable solutions or ample alternatives. ·  Strong written and oral communication skills including proven success in working with stakeholders with a wide range of technical knowledge. ·  Proven software development project management skills, including ability to prioritize among multiple concurrent projects, scheduling, and tracking. ·  Proven success in delivering quality software projects on time, on budget, and within scope. ·  Proven experience in translating business requirements into solutions. ·  Strong cross-functional integration skills with departments such as QA and Product Management. ·  Organizational development skills to continuously build & improve the organization. ·  Skilled in working as a team member to foster a unified team environment. ·  Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic team environment and possess time management skills to meet schedules. ·  Technical leader and coach, aware of applicability of new technologies. ·  Minimal travel  Preferred Requirements:·  Experience in a 24/7 eCommerce environment. ·  Experience with Microsoft .Net 3.0 technologies, specifically Windows Communication Foundation and Workflow Foundation.   Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
