The prospective Director of Engineering will be responsible for leading and growing the Radius engineering team in the Clinton office, providing strategic business input, and driving innovation, helping clients find and realize business opportunities. This leadership position requires a strong ability to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on challenging programs, and ensure department performance and results.

This individual will also be involved in developing and managing relationships with external partners including suppliers, technical alliances, and key customers.  Requirements include: BSME with a minimum of 15 years of mechanical engineering and product development experience, a strong knowledge of injection molding and other manufacturing processes, a history of creative problem solving and developing innovative products within cross-functional program teams, preferably medical devices. Experience in a product development consulting environment is essential to the position. Key personal competencies and qualities of the ideal candidate include: highly motivated, organized, excellent communicator, demonstrated leadership skills and technical excellence in the areas of mechanical engineering and product design and development.
