Individual will be responsible for the optimization of the supply chain performance through the following: Responsible for the design of Distribution facilities from concept to start up Develop and define physical logistics metrics for the supply chain from manufacturing to the customer. Identify opportunities for cost and service improvement and sell these ideas to operating management Manage the team that will study and optimize our distribution networks for the short term 1-3 years, the mid term 3-5 years and the long term 5-10 years. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years supply chain experience working in a consumer product distribution environment preferred Prior experience in the design of distribution facilities and design of distribution systems including pallet, case and loose pick. Previous distribution project experience Prior Experience working for a consulting firm a plusEducation BS degree in an engineering discipline required (could be industrial or management engineering), MBA preferred.Aptitudes: Team player able to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams Process oriented Customer focused
