Director, Non-Destructive Testing Engineering Services
A growing full-service consulting engineering firm specializing in structural engineering, investigation, and construction. We are currently seeking an experienced professional engineer to assume the responsibilities of Director, NDT Engineering Services. This position directs the overall operations of the non-destructive testing department.
Responsibilities:
Maintain budgeted sales and expense projections/reports for group
Provide leadership and direction for growth to both field and office personnel
Provide executives with timely reporting and updates
Effectively manage staffing requirements and maintain staffing budget
Develop new business opportunities to include preparing proposals and negotiating with new and existing clients/jobs
Correspond regularly with clients to address issues and concerns
Assist executive management in technology and new services development in addition to marketing of those services
Requirements:
This person must have strong personal and communication skills enabling them to interact with many clients and industry professionals. A PhD or PE in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) is required. Previous experience with non-destructive testing is strongly preferred.
