Design Engineer II
We are looking for:
Wacker Neuson, a top manufacturer of compact to medium sized construction equipment and specialists in the construction industry for over 150 years, is one of the leading manufacturers of construction machinery in the fields of concrete technology, soil and asphalt compaction, demolition technology, pumps, power and light and hydronic heating solutions. We currently have an opening for the following position at our Norton Shores facility located in Michigan.
Design Engineer II
Utilizing your engineer knowledge, skills and experience, you will work with various departments and suppliers to take ideas to reality by analyzing and selecting materials, performing FMEA's and hazard/safety analysis, executing engineering calculations and creating models and drawings using various software. You will also provide support to solve problems and assist with product testing to make sure quality standards are met within budget and the time frame allotted. This position offers product diversity as well as a hands on approach.
You provide:
Qualified candidates must possess a BSME (MSME preferred) with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in solid modeling and strength analysis of weldments and sheet metal structures, mobile equipment design, fatigue analysis, plastic enclosure design, tolerance stack-up analysis, FEA, GD&T and Project Management. Experience using 3D CAD software, ProEngineer and SolidWorks is desired. Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills and strong function/technical expertise are a must.
