Department Manager- Electrical/Controls
We currently have an exceptional opportunity for an Electrical/Controls Department Manager located in our Minneapolis, MN, office.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years experience required
- P.E. preferred
- Experience with Power Distribution, Lighting, Transmission, Transformers, Switchgear, and Motor Control Centers
- Experience with NFPA codes and standards, cable/wire sizing, voltage drop calculations, and hazardous area classifications is preferred
- Experience in the design/build of Manufacturing or Industrial facilities
- Some travel is expected
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Formulates and directs investigations, develops model and system studies, analyzes and interprets the data obtained and recommends practical application of results
- Provides expert advice on design processes or construction methods
- Advises on the development of new engineering methods and participates in short and long-range planning
- Provides technical leadership to teams of professional and non-professional staff
- Works under own direction and interfaces directly with the client.
