EPS Corp is seeking a professional with database skills to bring innovation to our Costa Mesa, CA office. This position requires superb technical expertise and extensive experience developing, manipulating and testing applications and databases.  The ideal candidate would be deadline oriented and excel under pressure. 

Essential Functions

·  Convert, analyze and organize databases to produce quality reports

·  Develop and test applications and databases; correcting errors and making necessary modifications

·  Ensure storage, archive, backup and recovery procedures are in place

·  Research and evaluate industry trends in database systems and software solutions

·  Design and maintain data-driven project web portals using IIS, Visual Web Developer (ASP.NET), SQL Server, and Crystal Reports

·  Plan and implement security and access control in web and database applications

Minimum Requirements

 

·  Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related field; certifications a plus (MCSE, MCDBA)

·  Experience with SQL Database, MS-SQL, Excel and Access

·  Experience with Windows Operating Systems (2003 Server, XP Pro) including installation and troubleshooting of network, hardware, software and internet related problems

·  Experience with Queries, Crystal Reports or an equivalent technology

·  Experience with maintaining web administration and security

·  Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of user levels

Additional Skills/Experience

 

·  Basic knowledge of Active Directory and MS 2003 Exchange server

·  Experience with SQL Database, MS SQL, Excel and Access

·  Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

·  Experience with IIS, ASP, PHP, MySQL, INSQL, and other open source software a plus

·  Macro programming using Visual Basic for Applications for Excel and Access 1 to 3 years experience
