Control Systems Design Engineers

We currently seek a high caliber Control Systems Design Engineers to work on a contract basis for duration of the project. Based in Sugar Land, Texas, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals sector.

Job Description:
• Applying engineering principles to complete engineering designs associated with control systems
• Developing and reviewing control strategies
• Selecting and procuring plant instrumentation
• Producing control loop drawings
• Works within a task force for the realization of multi-discipline projects during all engineering phases, from conceptual phase to commissioning
• Work in close cooperation with client and vendors to translate functional specifications into technical solutions
• Work with other disciplines as required for the execution of the work.
• Responsible for understanding the entire Code of Conduct and complying with its requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
• BS in Process Control, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
• 10 years experience in control systems engineering/design
• Industrial experience with continuous processes
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of PDS, DCS and PLC hardware and software
• Must be willing to travel International if project requires
