Continuous Improvement Manager
Reporting to the Operations Manager with dotted line reporting to the Regional Continuous Improvement Manager, this position will be responsible for identifying, leading and implementing Lean and Six Sigma product/process improvement projects to remove waste, improve quality, reduce cost, drive operational excellence initiatives, and financial improvements while working with, mentoring and developing Six Sigma Champions and Green Belts. Candidate will provide a single point of contact for projects and manage projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include customers, client services and various departments.Required SkillsHighly skilled in staff management/ team Leadership Effective influencing others not under direct supervision Project identification / generation Outstanding written and verbal communication Self motivated, results driven Required Experience Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience Certified 6 Sigma Black belt and/or Lean Expert Experience with and applying the following tools: Basic Statistics FMEA DOE / Regression Analysis MSE Process Mapping Control Plans Mistake Proofing Root Cause and Corrective Action Value Stream Mapping and Analysis Work Flow Improvement Set-Up Reduction TPM Kaizen 5S Visual Workplace Proven process improvement implementation success Ability to interact with all levels of the Organization Demonstrated success instructing Greenbelts, mentoring and coaching Leading Kaizen events
The ideal candidate will have solid expert level experience and knowledge of 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts with printing industry experience.
