GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
Provide turnkey engineering services for Cisco IP Communications deployments including all aspects of product lifecycle: pre-sales and design, implementation, and support.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Hands on experience designing and implementing CUCM and CME and customization based on database collection and Statement of Work.
· Demonstrated ability to design, install, configure and document Unity and Unity Express based on customer requirements.
· Hands on experience with VoIP related protocols including H.323, MGCP, SIP, SCCP, DHCP, RTP, VXML, CDP…
· Hands on troubleshooting experience with CUCM, Gateways, Unity, UCCX. Retrieve, review, and evaluate traces (echo, routing, erratic behavior, root cause analysis, etc.).
· Demonstrated ability to intelligently configure VoIP related L2/L3 parameters on Cisco IOS based infrastructure equipment including routing, QoS, VLANs, 802.1p/q, STP, and other VoIP related configuration parameters.
· Understanding of E911 requirements and implementation options (preferably CER and RedSky).
· WAN and PSTN connectivity experience (FXS/FXO, T1, PRI, MPLS, Frame Relay, T-Berd, cable plant, etc.)
· Experience conducting VoIP network readiness assessments.
· Assist in the development of formal project plans, test plans and supporting project documents.
· General office and engineering application skills (MS Office, Visio, etc.).
· Experience with integration of CUCM and Unity with 3rd Party PBX/Messaging platforms
· Pre-sales experience with IPC along with knowledge of other advanced technologies including Network Security, Wireless and Content Networking.
· Knowledge of IPC security architecture and have knowledge of security best practices as related to various vendor platforms.
· Experience with native and 3rd party IPC monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
· MeetingPlace and video conferencing experience
· Packet analyzer and network analysis experience.
· Linux, Exchange, IPcelerate, Berbee, LiteScape, AD.
