Description:DESCRIPTIONDelivers consulting project activities, including client identificationthrough final invoicing. Technical responsibilities include problemidentification, system architecture definition, hardware/softwarespecification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training,and solution deployment. Project management activities includeinteraction with company and client managers and cost/schedulemonitoring. Financial responsibilities include project cost estimating,proposal generation, and invoicing. May participate in sales andproposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team accountactivities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities incustomer organization. Viewed by customers as a consultant andperformance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions withinbudgeted hours.JOB COMPLEXITYWorks on issues of diverse scope where analysis of data requiresevaluation of identifiable factors. Minimum of 8 years experience in machine safety consulting or discrete manufacturing safety engineering. Demonstrated ability to propose and sell consulting projects. Strong understanding of machine safety in a manufacturing environment required.
