Construction Manager: Boilermakers & Iron Work
Minimum 10 years supervisory experience in industrial construction. Must also have experience with boilers/pressure vessel construction and /or iron work. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); industrial construction procedures and standards; and union jurisdiction, labor agreements, and negotiations are essential. Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills required.HS Diploma or equivalent.Must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy.Must have a valid driver's license. Job Description : Provides technical project management assistance for the site construction work, with specific focus on the Boilermaker and Ironworker trades. Works closely with on-site supervision to plan work for maximum productivity and provides feedback from craft supervision regarding plan effectiveness. Knowledge of the local workforce, craft supervision and industrial construction practice is required for this position. CM will write work permits, manage job safety and assist the Site Manager with ensuring overall work process compliance. xurs02x : : EOE M/F/D/V
