Construction Equipment Operator 2

(WESTON®), a leading infrastructure redevelopment services firm, has an exceptional opportunity in our Del Rio office for a Construction Equipment Operator 2.Participate in project completion through operation of medium duty heavy equipment e.g. loaders, backhoes, trackhoes, forklifts, etc. and assistance to the Site Managers on lesser tasks. When not operating equipment, participate in general labor tasks. The individual's degree of involvement is dependent on his/hers experience and capabilities. Perform related responsibilities as assigned.Responsible for performance of equipment operational tasks as required by the job scope including but not limited to earth work, excavation, demolition, site clean up, sampling, etc.Operation of hand power tools and small equipment, e.g., power washers. Daily maintenance of tools and equipment used in discharging his responsibility including required decontamination.Work in a safe manner. Decisions with regard to scope of work must have approval of the Site Superintendent. All decisions are subject to the approval of the Site Superintendent and/or Safety Officer.High School diploma plus 5 years experience in the operation of heavy equipment or graduate of Operator training school or equivalent.EOE, M/F/D/V.
