Composites Engineer/Software Simulations. JOB SUMMARY: Utilize processing systems to assess production of specific customer parts. Perform all requirements to study first time articles including upfront review of parts, programming, process planning, and production scenarios. Responsibilities: Analysis and understanding of advanced designs. Develop and implement test plans to assess customer needs or simulate new machine features and capabilities. Work closely with Process Engineers to arrive at optimal solutions utilizing existing or concepted process methods. Propose/implement alternative solutions to problems. Work with customer as needed to understand and fulfill requirements. Perform simulations and evaluations of customer candidate parts. Prepare part/tool models in Design CAD system and translate data as needed into in-house programming/simulations software systems. QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years analysis and test experience and working with customers. Ability to conduct investigations and analysis. Proficient with use of engineering design CAD tools. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data and procedures.
