Client Service Manager 2

As a Client Service Manager 2, you will be responsible for the following key duties: • Understand the client’s full range of consulting needs • Understand the client’s organization and decision-making styles and process • Develop and maintain consistent relationships with key decision-makers at staff and political levels • Identify opportunities to influence and create the client’s perception of our client • Develop strategies to expose the client to the full-range of capabilities offered by the firm • Maintain an understanding of regulations and other external drivers that may affect a client • Develop a Tactical Action Plan (TAP), establish a budget and manage the effort to budget • Become aware of competitors working for the clientThe Client Service Manager 2 will have the following skills and abilities: • Commitment to providing value-based client service • Anticipation of client needs and best expertise to address needs• Client-focused problem-solving skills • Flexibility to deal with the unexpected • Understanding of client problems/context, such as need to improve competitiveness • Can-do approach - pragmatic but enthusiastic • Personal relationships with assigned clients • Personal relationships with competitors/contractors • Desire and aptitude to assume responsibility for client development • Recognized in national/regional client organization associations and in professional engineering circlesBasic Qualifications:· A bachelor’s degree in Engineering required. Professional Engineer registered in the State of Nebraska. A minimum of 10 years experience as a Municipal Wastewater treatment Project Manager and Client Service Manager is required. Preferred Qualifications:Project management experience, ability to lead marketing and procurement activities, consulting experience, clear verbal and written communications, and teamwork skills necessary to coordinate with other client offices and staff. Technical experience should include wastewater treatment plant planning, design and construction · experience, and master planning. Up to 12 years experience preferred.
