Environmental Client Manager/Project Manager: Railroad Practice – Kansas City

 

Dynamic, employee-owned firm providing engineering, environmental, and scientific solutions to transportation, water resources and industry sector clients for over ninety years is seeking an experienced Project Manager to develop and manage railroad environmental projects in the Midwest. 

 

This challenging position requires practical experience with helping railroad clients address both routine and complex regulatory and technical issues under major environmental regulatory programs, including CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and similar state and local regulatory programs.  Experience with environmental cleanup and/or compliance on railroad sites is a must.  Proven Project Management experience and a BS/MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Geology/ Hydrogeology required. 10+ years of consulting experience, both office and field and excellent written/oral communication skills a plus.

 

Help to further develop and expand relationships with existing railroad client contacts. You will maintain relationships, assemble and manage project teams with existing resources, assist with recruiting, and be a member of our senior railroad management team, as well as assist as a project team member on other environmental projects throughout firm.
