Civil/Water Resources Engineer
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience. Must have knowledge of SBUH, TR-55, HEC-1, WWHM, KCRTS, SWMM and HEC-RAS. Other requirements of the position include strong writing skills, the ability to work independently as well as within a team. The person shall be eager and willing to learn new tasks and committed to delivering high quality work products. Occasional travel to job sites will be required to obtain information on projects and to interact with clients and regulatory agencies.Proficiency in MicroSoft Office programs and valid drivers license required. Job Description : URS has a position open for a Water Resources Engineer who will perform site layout, grading, drainage calculations using SBUH, TR-55, HEC-1, WWHM and KCRTS for the purpose of sizing detention and water quality treatment systems for site development. Will also support drainage plans, large stormwater management projects, bridge replacements and stream restoration projects using SWMM and HEC-RAS.
