THE NEED

 

We are seeking a Civil / Utility Engineer with 5 or more years of experience to provide engineering and design for a wide range of municipal utility projects including sewer, water, and storm water projects.  Our client continues to win a significant civil engineering projects throughout Central Virginia and need to add staff to meet their expanding demands.  We are looking for someone that has worked with engineering and design of infrastructure utilities.  We would prefer someone that has specifically worked on municipal projects.  However, we are willing to consider an engineer with land development experience that has focused on sewer, water, and storm water conveyance design.  This could be an excellent opportunity to make the transition from the land development field. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and project management guidance to internal team members, interfacing daily with clients, preparing written reports and ensuring successful project completion. This is an opportunity to manage challenging projects in the civil / utility engineering field and continue to develop and expand your career.  Relocation is available for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS

 

The right individual will have proven civil utility engineering design capabilities with either municipal or private clients including water, sewer, and storm water conveyance projects.  Excellent organizational and communications skills are a must.  The candidate should have 5 or more years of stable related experience, a BSCE Degree, and a current Virginia PE, or the ability to obtain a Viginia PE within 6 months.  A competitive salary and benefits package combined with an excellent opportunity for development and career enhancement await the right energetic individual.
