Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer
Superior Tank Co., Inc. is a manufacturer and erector of Bolted and Welded Steel Water Storage Reservoirs. Superior Tank has a wide variety of equipment and services beginning with our manpower to install flow piping lines and tanks to the actual furnishing and manufacturing of Bolted and Welded Steel Storage Tanks.
We currently have an immediate opening for a Civil or Structural Engineer with a California Professional Engineering Stamp. However, a Texas state stamp is helpful too.
Job Responsibilities:Structural engineering calculations for the design of water and oil steel storage tanks, and their foundations, ranging in capacity from 10,000 gallons to 8.0 million gallons using AWWA and API design codes. Reviewing fabrication drawings to ensure compliance to project specifications and drawings. Design work will also include concrete foundations, walkways, baffle systems, stairways, and other integral parts of a steel reservoir.
Job Requirements:Familiarity with seismic response spectra calculations, anchor bolt designs, STAAD, Enercalc and a working knowledge of hydraulic structure designs.
