Overview of Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of engineering reports under direct supervision of a registered professional engineer Perform routine engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks Provide CADD support to the project team Complete design calculations to support design work Research code and utility requirements Operate AutoCAD and various software applications Follow project delivery procedures and standards in compliance with client and division-specific guidelines Communicate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate to the project Deliver projects in compliance with client and division-specific quality control procedures and guidelines Assume responsibility for the application of sound engineering principles utilizing the industry -standard of care' Report on a daily basis to the appropriate management hierarchy Identify problems, roadblocks, or defects and bring to the supervisor's or manager's attention in a timely manner, including suggested solutions Manage personal time, effort, and commitment in an efficient manner and inform supervisor or manager in a timely manner when unable to meet demands Assure and actively participate in quality control and or quality assurance in accordance with company and divisional guidelines Actively pursue continuing education, training, or professional development activities to remain current with industry standards

 Required Skills



Qualifications Required:  0-3 years experience ( prefer a person with 2-3 years experience) Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering E.I.T. Certificate Capable with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, preferably experience with 2009 Civil 3D Ability to use hydraulic design software for water,wastewater and stormwater Ability to anticipate project needs and respond to or make others aware of issues that develop Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with team and clients regarding project issues

Qualifications Desired:Process design experience is a plus Permitting knowledge a plus
