Circuit Design Engineer IV

Research, design, and layout multi-layer printed circuit cards including analog, digital, RF, and high power circuitry utilizing through - hole and surface - mount technologies.The successful candidate will be responsible for analog and digital circuit design and verification of complex circuits and electro-mechanical systems. This person will also be responsible for developing concepts, defining requirements and ensuring compliance with various agency requirements. It should be noted that this position description/summary reflects management's assignment of essential functions; and does not preclude or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.* BSEE/MSEE with minimum of 10 years related experience is required.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate technical information to an audience. Strong organizational and time management skills.* Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials. Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach. Combination of office and plant environment.* Experience with detailing analog, digital and (RF) circuit schematics; specifically for the P.C.B. layout department to deliver prototype hardware on expected schedules. * Familiarity with software engineering concepts/languages and computer operating systems.
