Chemical Project Engineer
The planning, coordinating, and conducting of all aspects of group research and development, new product development, or product improvement programs (both internally funded and customer funded).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Project planning, coordinating and conducting from inception to completion. Including: Contract and specification interpretation, including the interpretation of military and industry or customer specification for all requirements.Mechanical design, all aspects.Understanding of fundamental engineering analysis and other forms of analysis.Understanding of materials and material applications, including metals, plastics, composites, and others.Understanding of material processing and manufacturing methods including: blending, pressing, extruding, machining, etc.Chemical, (Chemistry / Physics) Understanding and Utilization.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
