As an employee-owner, you'll have a genuine stake in the success of our company and share in our commitment to exceptional customer service.QualificationsThe ideal Senior Practice Leader (Industrial Hygienist) candidate will build (including hiring) a team or group and develop opportunities with large multi-site client accounts, and provide a high level of technical competency on in-house projects and in mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate must have 15+ years related experience and experience in environmental consulting, a working knowledge of federal regulations, an in-depth knowledge of state regulations, and the ability to provide high-end technical support on complex projects. As a senior technical resource and role model, this leadership position requires an excellent attitude and an ability to communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and junior staff. Participates in planning and job-getting strategies, initiates and maintains contacts with prospects and develops leads. Designs and prepares interview presentations, works on proposals and selling documents, facilitates teaming with other firms. Motivates Managers to perform marketing functions. Has outside client contacts.Must have experience in providing business development in the New England area in one or all of industrial hygiene, safety science and environmental disciplines. Self starter, knows specific and type of clients to develop. Emphasis is to develop long term relationship, and to be the client's trusted advisor. Demonstrate previous capability of winning work. Excellent communicator. Experience in knowing types of client personalities. Strong technical and client management skills are required. Also, financial/business management background experience is expected.A BS or MS from an accredited college/university is preferred with a major in industrial hygiene.
