CNC Machinist,Regrind

Sets-up, loads, programs and operates one or more CNC machines within the Round Tool Department.

 

Job Duties: Grinds the outside diameters of carbide or steel round stock within specified tolerances.  Edits and/or writes complex CNC programs using. Inspects round tools at various stages, including final inspection, using various precision measuring devices.
Experience and Skills:


 

 Job Requirements:

Education:  High school graduate or GED

Experience: at least 2 years operating CNC machines

Skills:  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; use standard gauging; use optical comparator; write CNC programs.
