CIVIL ENGINEER

CIVIL ENGINEER/MANAGER TOLEDO OFFICE Soil and Materials Engineers, Inc., an established consulting engineering firm ranked among ENR's top 500 firms, seeks an experienced engineer to lead and manage our growing regional office in Toledo, Ohio. Will provide leadership in business development and client maintenance, project management and quality assurance, and staff development and training. Ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in Civil Engineering or a related field, professional registration and a minimum of 10 years consulting experience in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting or construction materials services. Excellent oral communication and writing skills required. Must have demonstrated interest in team develoment and commitment to excellent customer service. Headquartered in SE Michigan, SME currently employs over 200 people with regional offices in Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Lansing, Bay City, and Shelby Township, Michigan, and Toledo, Ohio.
