CADD Drafter / Security Systems

Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Engineering CADD Drafter / Security Systems TEKsystems has premiered with the world's largest provider of electronic security in Northern Virginia to help locate three Auto CADD technicians with security/electronic systems experience. · Reviews site-survey information provided by field teams and assists in systems designs and integrates complex low-voltage security, life safety, and fire alarm systems for a Government Agency. Supports Federal security projects including aviation facilities and airport security projects, and large integrated Federal security systems projects and proposals. · Manages the daily activities of the Applications Technical Support Group design department staff, which performs Task Order (TO) technical design responses, project estimating, technical writing support, schematics, and drafting and technical documentation functions required to support Federal agency programs. · Maintains proper CADD systems storage, scaled CADD block, and drawing systems library and project data backup.· Assists assigned Lead Engineers or Project Managers in preparing point-to-point wiring diagrams and as-built design plans. Prepares or reviews all Federal drafting documentation prior to mailing all CADD drawings to respective representatives.· Creates and executes methods and procedures to ensure overall design department continuity for execution of quality, timeliness, scope of work, installation, and testing of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) electronic systems such as CCTV system, access control systems, intercom systems, and intrusion tailgate detection system. Involved in drafting drawings and equipment layouts for numerous discrete TOs and major Federal Courthouse and U.S. Attorneys projects to include.
