Business Analyst (Oracle Financial)
Davis IT & Engineering is a full service staffing firm which specializes in placing IT and Engineering Professionals across the United States and Canada. We currently have a need for Oracle Financial Business Analyst for a position available in Massachusetts. The individual will have the primary responsibility to obtain, analyze, validate, verify, and manage the business requirements for Oracle E-Business end user reports and system enhancements. The individual will work closely with the Process Owners and End Users in Financial, HR business areas. The individual will have significant involvement with financial reporting and business intelligence. Work with the Process Owner(s) to document scope.
· Assist business process owners in developing “Best-in-Class” solutions leveraging Oracle’s eBusiness suite functionality
· Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Oracle Financial and HR applications / solutions supporting strategic business initiatives
· Support / Lead the Continuous Improvement (CI) process of enhancing the existing Financial and HR solutions by understanding business needs and adjusting the application to meet business requirements, implementing new functionality to expand the current solution as required
· Support any required technical development by acting as a liaison between the technical team and the user community
· Train and support process owners, and end users as required, on the Financial and HR Applications / Solutions – support Help Desk processes as required
· Support the E-Business System Administration processes as required Document the content for the Business Requirements Documents related to Financial and HR business solutions Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, and concise. Participate in requirements prioritization. Assist with development and execution of test plans for all application patching requirements.
What are the must haves of this position? Oracle 11i implementation / support experience – primarily in the Financial and HR solutions 5+ years as a Business Analyst with experience in: requirements gathering, analysis, verification, and solutions implementation in the Financial and HR business areas
Preferred but not required: Experience working with Oracle’s ADI, Discoverer, and Business Intelligence solutions
